Robert Emmet Kenney, M.D.

Internal Medicine

Dr. Robert Emmet Kenney is an academically trained General Internist with more than 30 years of experience in the medical field. He is an expert on evidence-based medicine and value based care. Dr. Kenney earned his MD and PhD from the University of Miami, and trained at the Primary Care Internal Medicine Residency Program at the Yale University School of Medicine where he also served as Chief Resident and Associate Faculty. He has held leadership roles in all aspects of the Health Care System from Academic postings to Chief Medical Officer of a Medicare Advantage Plan. Dr. Kenney is passionate about the delivery of the most accurate and up to date care to patients, and has worked on many levels to improve work and information flow in the primary care setting. He recently left his role as Senior Medical Director at Cano Health, a leading value-based primary care provider and is currently practicing Internal Medicine and serving as Medical Director at The Ann and Joe Day Medical Center in Florida.

Mildred R. Sabo, M.D.

Internal Medicine & Geriatrics

Dr Mildred Sabo, M.D., is a board-certified Internist and fellowship-trained Geriatrician who has been practicing medicine for over 30 years. Dr. Sabo was awarded her undergraduate degree from Rutgers University and graduated with her Medical Doctor degree from New Jersey Medical School in Newark, New Jersey. She completed her fellowship in Geriatrics from New York University Hospital.

Dr. Sabo is an expert in geriatric medicine. She was Medical Director of the Geriatric Health Center and the Memory Disorders Institute at Monmouth Medical Center. Dr. Sabo has also served as Medical Director of several senior living communities. Prior to joining the team at the Day Medical Center, Dr. Sabo was in private practice in Brick, New Jersey, for 12 years.

Dr. Sabo combines research-based medicine with thorough, thoughtful patient care. She understands the unique needs of her senior patients and their families and is deeply invested in helping them maintain their optimum health and wellness

Katie Diamond, DNP, APRN, ANP-BC, CDCES, BC-ADM

Clinical Director

Katie Diamond has worked at the Day Medical Center since June 2015. She obtained her Bachelor of Science, Master of Science, and Doctor of Nursing Practice from the University of Florida's College of Nursing. She is a Board Certified Adult Nurse Practitioner, Board Certified in Advanced Diabetes Management, and is a Certified Diabetes Care and Education Specialist. She loves treating patients of all ages and specializes in treating patients holistically to optimize health.

Katie has a background in oncology and medical surgical nursing and worked as a nurse practitioner in a family practice in Wellington prior to joining the Day Medical Center. She has been very involved in the Nurse Practitioner Council in Palm Beach County and served as Vice President and President in past years.

Katie is blessed with three boys and enjoys spending time at the beach during her free time. She and her husband are also enthusiastic Florida Gator fans and frequently attend football games.

Danae Clark Dowd, MSN, ARNP, AGNP-C

Nurse Practitioner, House Calls

Danae Clark Dowd earned her Bachelor of Science and Master of Science degrees in Nursing from the University of South Florida. She is licensed and certified as an Advanced Registered Nurse Practitioner, specializing in primary care for adults and geriatrics.

Danae joined the team at the Day Medical Center with prior experience in house calls as a nurse practitioner and also several years in a local hospital as an oncology nurse. Danae is a member of the American Association of Nurse Practitioners as well as the Treasure Coast Nurse Practitioners.

When she is not working, Danae enjoys spending time outdoors with her family.

Johanna Job, APRN

Nurse Practitioner

Johanna Job, APRN is certified through the American Nurses Credentialing Center (ANCC). She obtained her Accelerated Bachelor of Science in Nursing and Master of Science in Nursing with a specialty of Family Nurse Practitioner from Florida Atlantic University. A New York City native, Johanna has made South Florida her second home. She is fluent in Spanish. As a registered nurse, she spent several years in Emergency Medicine caring for the pediatric, adult, and geriatric populations where she received the Daisy Award. 

 

Since becoming a nurse practitioner, she has practiced in urgent care and primary care. Her focus is to build a practice grounded on safe evidenced based care. Encompassing a patient-centered model, she hopes to ensure patients feel they are actively collaborating in their plan of care. 

 

On her free time, she enjoys spending time with her family, friends and traveling.
