MEET YOUR MEDICAL TEAM

Robert Emmet Kenney, M.D., Ph.D.

Dr. Kenney is a Board Certified in Internal Medicine.  A graduate of the University of Miami School of Medicine, he performed his residency at the Yale Primary Care Internal Medicine Residency Program, where he also served as chief resident and clinical instructor.

Dr. Kenney served on the faculty of Emory University School of Medicine and the Yale University School of Medicine.He helped start the Internal Medicine Residency Training Program at the Cleveland Clinic in Florida.Dr. Kenney has worked with the Medicare Advantage insurance program as Medical Director and Chief Medical Officer for several national and Florida-based insurers.He most recently served as Regional Medical Director for WellMed Medical Management, Inc.

Dr. Kenney practices medicine that is soundly based in science but focuses on the entirety of the patient and his or her family and caregiver support group. Medical treatment is delivered with empathy and understanding.

Medical Director, Internal Medicine

Mildred R. Sabo, M.D.

Dr. Mildred Sabo, M.D. is an Internist and fellowship-trained Geriatrician who has been practicing medicine for 30 years. Dr. Sabo was awarded her undergraduate degree from Rutgers University and graduated with her Medical Doctor degree from New Jersey Medical School in Newark, New Jersey. In addition, she is two-year fellowship trained in Geriatrics from New York University Hospital. 

 

Dr. Sabo is an expert in geriatric medicine. She was Medical Director of the Geriatric Health Center and the Memory Disorders Institute at Monmouth Medical Center. Dr. Sabo has also served as Medical Director of several senior living communities. Prior to joining the team at the Day Medical Center, Dr. Sabo was in private practice in Brick, New Jersey for 12 years.

 

Dr. Sabo combines research-based medicine with caring, compassionate and thoughtful patient care. She understands the unique needs of her senior patients and their families and is deeply invested in helping them maintain their optimum health and wellness.

Geriatrician & Internal Medicine

Katie Diamond, ANP-BC, CDE

Katie Diamond earned her Bachelor of Science and Masters of Science degrees in Nursing from the University of Florida’s College of Nursing.  She is licensed and certified as an Adult Nurse Practitioner and holds certifications in geriatric nursing, oncology nursing and is a Certified Diabetes Educator. She has been a member of the Day Medical Center team for three years.   

Katie’s professional experience includes work as a Nurse Practitioner in a primary care practice in Wellington, FL. Her R.N. experience includes work in medical oncology and infusion at Bethesda Hospital in Boynton Beach, FL and the Malcolm Randall VA Medical Center in Gainesville, FL.

Katie is President of the Nurse Practitioner Council of Palm Beach County. She is passionate about geriatric medicine and diabetes care and treatment. In her free time, she enjoys attending Florida Gator football games with her husband and son and spending time at the beach.

Nurse Practitioner

Lindsay Serey, ARNP, FNP-C

Lindsay Serey earned her Bachelor of Science and Master of Science degrees in Nursing from the Florida Atlantic University’s Christine E. Lynn College of Nursing.  She is licensed and certified as an Family Nurse Practitioner and holds certifications from the National Institute of Health in stroke assessment, the American Association of Critical Care Nurses in progressive care nursing, and the American Heart Association in Basic Life Support and Advanced Cardiac Life Support.  

Prior to joining the team at the Day Medical Center, Lindsay worked as the clinical coordinator of the cardiac and stroke floor at Martin Medical Center. Her R.N. experience includes work with cardiac, stroke, pulmonary and vascular patients at both Martin Medical Center and Sebastian River Medical Center.

Lindsay is a member of the American Association of Nurse Practitioners and the Treasure Coast Nurse Practitioners. She is passionate about providing quality care and involving patients in their own care. In her free time, she enjoys walking, attending baseball games with her husband and spending time with her three children.

Nurse Practitioner

Danae Clark Dowd, MSN, ARNP, AGNP-C

Danae Clark Dowd earned her Bachelor of Science and Master of Science degrees in Nursing from the University of South Florida.  She is licensed and certified as an Advanced Registered Nurse Practitioner, specializing in primary care for adults and geriatrics.

​Danae joined the team at the Day Medical Center with prior experience in house calls as a nurse practitioner and also several years in a local hospital as an oncology nurse. Danae is a member of the American Association of Nurse Practitioners as well as the Treasure Coast Nurse Practitioners. 

When she is not working, Danae enjoys spending time outdoors with her family.​

Danae is the House Calls provider for the Day Medical Center.
